Steps to import from France

    Search on leboncoin.fr or lacentrale.fr

    The most popular French portals for second-hand cars.

    Verify the CT (Contrôle Technique)

    The French equivalent of the ITV. Must be current to sell the car.

  3. 3

    Drive the car to Spain

    From southern France, you can cross at La Jonquera (Catalonia) or Irún (Basque Country).

    Request the Carte Grise (barrée)

    The seller must cancel the Carte Grise and sign the transfer certificate.

    Register in Spain

    Import ITV + tax payments + DGT for the Spanish plates.
